Cleveland Legends Event

On May 23, 2024, Coach Sam's Scholars will host its annual Legends Event at Progressive Field : The Home of The Cleveland Guardians. This year, Coach Sam's Scholars will honor Cleveland Guardians Legend Terry "Tito" Francona and our student scholars. Our annual Legends Event aims to celebrate the incredible legends within the Cleveland community while raising funds to empower the future generation of leaders. The event will include a cocktail hour, dinner, speeches from Cleveland Legends and leaders, raffle baskets, elite raffle items, and an auction. All are welcome, so join us on May 23, 2024, at Progressive Field for a night of celebration, inspiration, and hope for our future changemakers.

Coach Sam's Scholars

Coach Sam's Scholars is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation whose mission is to provide educational support and social-emotional support to children through a combination of literacy, personal development, and health and fitness programs designed to develop the whole child.

Since 2009, Coach Sam's has successfully reached thousands of children. Coach Sam's programming has led to improved academic performance and self-confidence for our young scholars, creating a path toward a promising and brighter future.

Event Day Information

Coach Sam's Scholars is excited to see you at the 2024 Legends Event on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Progressive Field in the Discount Drug Mart Club.

Event Registration begins at 5:30 pm and guest should enter through the Discount Drug Mart Club. The dress is business casual.

To make your experience at the 2024 Legends Event is as enjoyable as possible, the Coach Sam's Scholars team wanted to communicate some key details leading up to the event.

Parking:

Cuyahoga Community College Parking Garage

700 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44115

Parking for the event will be at Cuyahoga Community College Parking Garage across the street from Progressive Field's Discount Drug Mart Club. The Discount Drug Mart entry door will have a blue awning above the entry door.

Parking is complimentary for all attendees. Present the parking pass below to the parking attendant.
